As part of our mission to bring the origin stories of Worcestershire’s cricketers to life, we’ve started a series of short features that provide us with a little bit more context behind the paths taken by those who represent this historic club in the modern day. 

Up next in the series is Liv Gough, an enterprising wicket-keeper batter from Tenbury Wells who’s been playing for the club ever since she was 10 years old. 

So, with the start of the 2026 season mere weeks away, we decided to ask her a selection of quickfire questions to find out more about her early cricketing journey here in the Midlands as well as the highlights from her time at Worcestershire so far.
