Worcestershire head coach Alan Richardson is happy with the start his side has made to the Rothesay County Championship season – a win and a draw from two “challenging” away games.
The Pears followed up their draw with Derbyshire in Derby with an excellent 57-run win over Middlesex at Lord’s. The latter was a big result in light of Middlesex having just trounced Gloucestershire by an innings in their first game. The Pears’ win could potentially have huge implications come the business end of the season.
