Richardson happy with Lord's reaction

The Pears followed up their draw with Derbyshire in Derby with an excellent 57-run win over Middlesex at Lord’s. The latter was a big result in light of Middlesex having just trounced Gloucestershire by an innings in their first game. The Pears’ win could potentially have huge implications come the business end of the season.  

“It was really pleasing that at Middlesex we played so much of the game on the front foot,” said Richardson. “I tend not to look too much into what the opposition has been doing or where they are in the league table. We take a lot of detail about how they play their cricket and who we are coming up against, but not where there are in the table. It was just important for us to put in a better performance than we did at Derby.
